    in need of a tailgate

today as Ms Linda was leaving the flea market she backed into the gate post at the market and buckled my Tail gate
as we have to leave it down because of the bike lift

we have been driving with it down for over 3 years but today was one of those days she just did not notice the extra sticking out (oh well)

so I have been wanting to take the lift out anyway and go back to using a trailer and have the truck repainted so now it looks as if it will happen sooner than expected

She only missed the bike ramp by 2 inches , if I had my monkey on a stick (slide hammer) and a little help I could get most of it out

Geez, didn't know that the tailgate always had to be lowered with your bike lift. Three years with no mishaps was pretty darn good.

Not worth tryin' to fix ... dime a dozen in yards. Looks like an opportunity to justify a shave?

The pinstrip will probably cost more than the used tailgate....Hope you get it fixed for a decent price.

at least for the 00's all you need is an orange pinstripe and it'd match OEM close enough.
