Forgot to ask, Due to being jealous. Do you have to keep the clay bar off stripe or does it matter?
You should keep it off the stripe...but it really shouldn't matter too much.
Thank you for your kind words...
Some "other" forums are either owned and operated by a detailing vendor or there are SV's that are hawking their wares.
I like being able to discuss processes and products from different manufacturers and voice my personal experience opinion.
Some stuff I like...some stuff is easy to use...some stuff I don't care for too much...some stuff is a real PITA to use...and some stuff is just plain 'ole junk.
Personally, I like getting the best results I can achieve. Quality is my first goal!
If you need to polish paint for 16 hours to get the results, then that's what's needed.
If great results can be obtained with products that are easy to use that's even better.
I do not sell anything! I talk about what products work for me and my personal results.
I do like being able to talk about products without having to worry about stepping on toes.
Any NHTOC folks that want to come to my house I'll be glad to teach you how to polish paint.
If you want your truck to sparkle from fifty feet away I'll do my best to help you obtain that goal.
Sadly, I can't turn a wrench to save my life but I bring a different set of skills to the NHTOC table.
due three or four times with the bar and age gets that ugly orange peel look off these trucks and wow.magnifico right!!! to me nothing looks as great as a slick black paint job on a truck..and I have used clay bars for years.lol at when those were top secrat weapons vs the super buff jobs..there aint many who can work a wheel safely on a black paint job, so the clay bar is definately a must have. I do mine, or whats left of the paint, lol, three times a year, and wax it after. Countless washes in between always using just a tiny drop or the right soap as not to wash off the wax. And wioth the super hard water we have here it is twice the work, but just looky there!..wow.aint she pretty boyaz?.honestly man thats a great looking truck!!
Looks amazing!!!
Amazing.
