    Oil - Dino vs Syn

I looked around the forum but haven't seen a thread on this topic. Course I could be blind.

I'm a big proponent of using the synthetic oils vs pure dino. I use syn in all my motorcycles and wouldn't change to dino for anything.
What about our trucks? Real or fabricated?

Mobil one here too (or Valvoline if I have to)... synthetic seems to stay cleaner a lot longer for me ---

    I use ford/motorcraft full synth 10/30.

ford only calls for 5 to meet CAFE standards, it's better for the engine to run 10.

Stock Motor --- Full synthetic 5w-30 or 10w-30 (which ever brand was on special price at time of purchase, usually always either Penzoil, Mobil 1, or Valvoline)

When we built the New motor --- non-synthetic 10w-30 for the break in period

After break in period --- full synthetic changed every 3k-5k Mobil 1 10w-30 or Valvoline 10w-30

I always ran Castrol Syntec 5w30, heard Rotella T6 was really good for gas engines too, anyone ever used Rotella? We use it in our Diesel engines at work but that's it.
